Diamonds and Dominators: How to FEEL Free in a World of Slavery - Chapter Two: You Were Born Free

Updated: Oct 20, 2020

Chapter 2: You Were Born Free – With Two Diamonds in Your Hands Diamonds are incredibly beautiful. And in this world, humans have chosen to make them valuable – and even invaluable, priceless.

If you study any top 10 list of the most expensive diamonds on Earth, the top two are usually the same.

One is the Cullinan Diamond which was found in South Africa in 1905. The rough, uncut version of this diamond was later cut into 9 smaller diamonds.

The other is the Koh-I-Noor Diamond, believed to have been discovered in India in the 1300’s and is now part of the British Crown Jewels. While other famous diamonds, such as the Hope Diamond, have estimated values of up to 350 million dollars, the Cullinan and the Koh-I-Noor are borderline “priceless.”

Diamonds like these two, once they’re in your possession, you don’t give them away.

You don’t sell them.

You don’t trade them out.

You protect them with your life from being stolen.

They are precious jewels, not to be parted with at any cost.

You were born free. That moment in our master bathroom, where I held you in my hands for the first time, was the freest moment of your life.

And you were born holding two priceless diamonds – one in each hand.

In your little right hand was the rough, uncut diamond of your IDENTITY.

Who you are.

Who you will be.

What you will desire.

What you will create.

What you will bring to the world.

Your unique personality.

Your unique appearance.

Your unique DNA.

Your unique giftedness.

Your unique voice.

You. The real you.

You were born with the diamond of the power of your identity in your right hand. Your individual identity. There is no one else like you on the entire planet. You cannot be replaced.

Throughout history, the right hand has been a picture of authority and power.[1] You were born with the power to define your own identity firmly in the grasp of your right hand. It is a priceless diamond. Way more valuable than the Cullinan or Koh-I-Noor diamonds. Never give it away. Never sell it. Never trade it. Protect it with your life from being stolen. It’s yours.

Then in your tiny left hand was the rough, uncut diamond of your INNER PEACE.

How you will feel about who you are.

Your inner person.

Your inner life.

Your inner freedom.

A free mind firing with curiosity and capable of free thinking and innovation.

Free will.

Honest emotions.

Your inner calm.

Your inner rest.

The power of your inner peace.

Your left hand is closest to your heart. Throughout history, the heart has been a picture of the very seat or throne of your inner life. It is the place where mind, will, and emotions converge at a single point. It is where choices of direction, devotion, and destiny are made.

You were born with the power to determine your own inner peace, firmly in the grasp of your left hand.

Inner peace is an extremely rare, priceless diamond. It is a heart at rest instead of a restless heart. It is a soul consistently at ease instead of a soul constantly on edge. It is an inner calm that lives above all paralyzing fear and persecuting guilt, not below them.

The diamond of your inner peace. This diamond is also way more valuable than the Cullinan or Koh-I-Noor diamonds. Never give it away. Never sell it. Never trade it. Protect it with your life from being stolen. It’s yours.

The exact moment you came into this world, you were holding the diamond of your identity in your right hand and the diamond of your inner peace in your left hand.

Rough.

Uncut.

Undeveloped.

But yours.

And at birth, for this briefest of moments, you were free.

You were born free.

But….

[1] For example, Christianity makes much of the “right hand” of power and authority imagery. The New Testament repeatedly refers to Jesus being seated on the “right hand” of God. See Acts 7:55-56; Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:3; 8:1.
